Tim Vantol is a Dutch acoustic musician from Amsterdam. His music includes influences from punk rock, folk rock and singer-songwriter.
Career
At the age of 15 or 16, Vantol started to play the guitar he got from his mother because she could not play. Together with a friend who lived on the same street and whose brother was a guitarist, he taught himself to play.
Vantol was a member of the Dutch punk rock band Antillectual. In 2009, his first solo album called Road Sweet Road appeared on the label Eminorseven. In 2011 he toured Solo for a few weeks through Russia. In 2013 he played more than 150 concerts throughout Europe. In 2014, We We Go Down was released on Uncle M Records.
Tim Vantol's role model is Chuck Ragan, with whom he toured from early to mid-2014 as well as in early 2015 as a supporting act. criticism
