【Matt Hus】
昆士蘭音樂獎世界音樂類得獎者 Matt Hsu aka 'Matt Hsu's Obscure Orchestra'，是位實驗音樂作曲家。他能演奏多達二十種以上的樂器，此外他也擅⻑將各類民俗樂器、管絃樂器、以及生活中唾手可得物品發出的聲響編織在一起，譜寫出豐富多彩而匠心獨運的音樂。身為一名「ABT (Australian-born Taiwanese) 」，Matt 從小受澳洲當地獨立音樂、龐克樂與實驗音樂的薰陶，長大後，他成為了全澳洲音樂界最受推崇的實驗音樂作曲家兼社會運動參與者。在跨文化背景成長下的他，時常藉由譜寫出在聽覺上超凡脫俗的音樂，稱頌多元性與包容性。此外，Matt 還擔任自己的 17 人編制管絃樂團指揮，而被澳洲樂壇比喻為澳洲的 Shugo Tokumaru。
Matt Hsu is a 2020 Queensland Music Award winning experimental composer and performer, known as 'Matt Hsu's Obscure Orchestra'. He plays over 20 instruments, combining world instruments, orchestral instruments and everyday objects to make lush intricately-crafted music. Born in Australia to Taiwanese parents, Matt grew up immersed in Australia's indie, punk and experimental music scenes, becoming one of the Australian music scene's most respected experimental artists-activists. Drawing on his cross-cultural upbringing, he creates otherworldly music that celebrates difference and inclusivity. Matt leads his own 17-piece orchestra and has been hailed as Australia's answer to Shugo Tokumaru.
