纵横歌坛近20年，西岸第一情色饶舌巨星 - Too $hort 矮子乐Pimp(玩家)，女人爱他，男人恨他，纵横于情场和钱场之间，Too Short唱出他自己精采的玩家生活！出道快20年来，Too Short以他独特的情色歌曲屡创纪录，从在后车厢兜售自己卡带的小鬼头到第一位西岸饶舌巨星，本名Todd Shaw，早在1985年就从加州的奥克兰开始歌手生涯，86年发行《Born to Mack》，光是他自己开车沿街兜售，就卖出了五万卷以上的成绩！纽约的Jive唱片惊为天人！隔年马上将本巨作做全国性的发行，轻轻松松就卖到金唱片。88年《Life Is...Too Short》更是将Too Short风格发挥到极致，Too Short的唱功与同期巨星LLCool J等人相比，更是收放自如，再加上70年代放克音乐启发Too Short自成一家的慵懒节奏（请记住，那个年代东岸的饶舌都在比大声，西岸Dr.dre那一挂人还在探索自己的风格），《Life Is...Too Short》除了卖到翻之外，更预告了90年代将是西岸音乐的天下。除了在96年发行《Gettin’ It (Album Number Ten)》之后短暂的休息之外，Too Short几乎以一年一张的速度发行专辑，除了惊人的质与量外，他和制作人Ant Banks天衣无缝的合作出许多90年代的经典。
