Guster是來自馬薩諸塞州波士頓的美國另類搖滾樂隊。創始成員Adam Gardner，Ryan Miller和Brian Rosenworcel在馬薩諸塞州梅德福市（M​​edford）的塔夫斯大學（Tufts University）就讀時開始了練習班，並於1991年成立了樂隊。成員們在當年八月的新生荒野取向計劃中會面，兩個月後在位於路易斯大廳宿舍公共區域的午夜咖啡館咖啡館裡。在參加Tufts時，樂隊住在馬薩諸塞州薩默維爾的學院大道139號。
