早期的生活和事業

Z-Ro於1977年1月19日出生於休斯敦南方公園附近的約瑟夫·韋恩·麥克維恩（Joseph Wayne McVey IV）。目前他的淨資產為200萬美元。 6歲時，他的母親去世，為了追求穩定，他從家庭到家庭，最終定居在休斯敦西南部密蘇里市的一個中產階級郊區Ridgemont地區。當Z-Ro到達十幾歲的時候，他失業了，在街上採取了販毒和喧囂的行動。根據Z-Ro的說法，聽著2Pac的音樂，Geto Boys，Street Military，K-Rino和Klondike Kat激勵他為離開街道而努力工作。 Z-Ro發現了自由式說唱的天賦，在經過幾個錄音室進行演示之後，當地一家唱片公司的首席執行官發現並簽了名。
