縱橫歌壇近20年，西岸第一情色饒舌巨星 - Too $hort 矮子樂Pimp(玩家)，女人愛他，男人恨他，縱橫於情場和錢場之間，Too Short唱出他自己精采的玩家生活！出道快20年來，Too Short以他獨特的情色歌曲屢創紀錄，從在後車廂兜售自己卡帶的小鬼頭到第一位西岸饒舌巨星，本名Todd Shaw，早在1985年就從加州的奧克蘭開始歌手生涯，86年發行《Born to Mack》，光是他自己開車沿街兜售，就賣出了五萬捲以上的成績！紐約的Jive唱片驚為天人！隔年馬上將本巨作做全國性的發行，輕輕鬆鬆就賣到金唱片。88年《Life Is...Too Short》更是將Too Short風格發揮到極致，Too Short的唱功與同期巨星LLCool J等人相比，更是收放自如，再加上70年代放克音樂啟發Too Short自成一家的慵懶節奏（請記住，那個年代東岸的饒舌都在比大聲，西岸Dr.dre那一掛人還在探索自己的風格），《Life Is...Too Short》除了賣到翻之外，更預告了90年代將是西岸音樂的天下。除了在96年發行《Gettin’ It (Album Number Ten)》之後短暫的休息之外，Too Short幾乎以一年一張的速度發行專輯，除了驚人的質與量外，他和製作人Ant Banks天衣無縫的合作出許多90年代的經典。
